Sunday favorites

I have thought of another idea for our post...we'll see if anyone else likes it. Let's share something we enjoyed from church each Sunday...it might be fun to know what's important to each of us spiritually. I wanted to share one of my favorite talks from the last general conference...by Elder Eyring. The link is http://lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-690-32,00.html
I also wanted to mention how much I enjoy teaching the family relations class. Today I am speaking on forgiveness in marriage...wow, is that an important topic. As I have prepared the lesson I have been impressed with how insightful President Faust's last conference talk was. We need to forgive, because when we don't forgive, it slows our spiritual progress. Read for yourself... http://lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-690-24,00.html

You're right about the forgiveness... in marriage but also just in families in general... or in-laws specifically! hmm- guess I'm still working on that! our RS lesson was on keeping the sabbath day holy-- I shared the story about how dad had to give up scuba diving in Colombia with grandpa and using sundays instead for building up our 'reservoirs' of faith' by doing sunday activities and how the simple acts of a 16 yr old convert became somewhat of a legacy or foundation for our family's spiritual growth later on.
btw (by the way) mom- on your posts you can click on the little paperclip link button and type in a link for people to simply click on in your blog/post instead of just pasting the whole link in the post, if that makes it easier for you!
neat idea, though! Wish I could sit in on your lessons!
